Friday shouldn’t be all about wrapping up and recapping your week. Friday is a great time to chart your course for the coming week. Monday morning seems to sneak up on everyone and before you know it lunchtime has arrived and you haven’t made progress.
Here are 3 simple and quick steps to add to your Friday that will kick start your Monday and your coming week.
- PAUSE for a few minutes each Friday. This can be anywhere from 5 – 15 minutes, whatever works best for you. It is helpful to schedule this or include it on your to do list. It keeps you accountable.
- JOT DOWN your goals, opportunities, and desired outcomes for the coming week. These can be both personal and professional. And can be done on paper or electronically, whatever works for you. But have it somewhere you will see on Monday morning.
- SCHEDULE any tasks that you will need to complete to reach these goals.
