Amy Matthews is a fractional CMO and strategic marketing expert who helps multi-million dollar businesses break through growth plateaus and achieve sustainable scaling. With over 30 years of experience, she specializes in customer-centric marketing strategies that put the client at the heart of every business decision—because when your customers guide your journey, you never drift off course.
As the founder and CEO of Amy Matthews Integrated, Amy serves companies in two key ways: providing fractional CMO and marketing director services for businesses ranging from $750K to $ 30 M+ in annual revenue, and delivering comprehensive learning experiences for CEOs looking to use marketing as a growth tool. Her approach goes beyond traditional marketing tactics to help business owners see their companies through their customers’ eyes, creating messaging and strategies that truly resonate.
Amy’s unique philosophy centers on customer-centric marketing integration—ensuring that every touchpoint, from websites to social media to email campaigns, works together as a cohesive system rather than disconnected channels. Through her workshops and thought leadership, Amy teaches business owners how to implement customer-focused strategies that drive real growth.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Samford University.
Sam serves as a Senior Advisor to Amy Matthews Integrated, where he brings his extensive technology leadership experience to help guide the firm’s strategic direction and client solutions. He believes in providing all clients, large and small, a technology vision that balances scalability, sustainability, and ingenuity. Even more importantly, Sam believes technology should be accessible and affordable for all that have a need.
Throughout his career, Sam has worked in a variety of technical and leadership roles across multiple organizations, serving as an independent consultant and holding senior positions with major corporations. His experience spans Business Process Improvement, Operations Management and Analysis, Government and Military Contracting, and Organizational Leadership.
Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute in 1991 and an MBA from Brenau University in 1999. Upon graduation from VMI, he accepted a commission in the United States Navy. During his military service, Sam was a designated Surface Warfare Officer and served in Communications and Engineering aboard an ordnance supply ship.
Jason Wahler is the Digital Director at Amy Matthews Integrated, a seasoned pro with a decade of experience in website development and the critical technology that makes sites perform. His philosophy is simple: keep clients happy and their websites working flawlessly. That means blazing-fast responses and proactive solutions, ensuring every integration and technical detail is perfectly aligned with their business goals.
What truly sets Jason apart is his ability to eliminate digital headaches. He empowers businesses to reclaim time and resources by expertly managing their website’s technical landscape, letting them focus entirely on growth. Before dedicating his skills to web development, Jason gained invaluable project management experience in the film industry, coordinating diverse production efforts. He’s a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, holding a degree in Film Production with a minor in writing.
As the Executive Assistant and Client Support Advisor at Amy Matthews Integrated, Jill Shults is the indispensable right-hand to CEO Amy Matthews. With a sharp eye for detail, exceptional organization, and a task-driven approach, Jill ensures every operational aspect runs seamlessly. Her commitment to providing the best possible customer service experience for all AMI clients, customers, and members is unwavering. A graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Education, Jill honed her precision and communication skills over a decade of teaching middle school math, bringing a unique blend of analytical thinking and supportive guidance to her role.
Liz partners with Amy Matthews Integrated to develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for our clients. As the founder of Wildflower Social Media, she brings a unique blend of strategic communications expertise and hands-on digital marketing experience to help businesses build authentic online presences.
Liz’s journey in social media began in 2017 while earning her B.A. in Strategic Communications at Elon University, where she helped entrepreneurs enhance their digital presence. Through internships and roles at traditional PR and book publicity companies, she developed an evergreen, organic approach to social media that focuses on sustainable growth and authentic engagement.
Her expertise spans content creation, digital brand building, and strategic social media planning. When she’s not crafting social media strategies, you can find Liz typing on her iPad with a chai latte in hand, reading a good book, or spending time with her dog, Redford.
